The Circle of Life

I fell far from that one single tree
And nobody came and got me
I lay there in the grass
And as I rot I watch the day pass
I am just a core now and all my seeds have left there nest
I see my smallest seed travel not to far then stop to take a rest
It was a dark and stormy night and the seed was dug into the ground
And my baby grew up to be just like her mom
What do you think?
Can anyone guess what fruit this is?

Prepositional Poem: Haunted House

Inside the dark and shadowed house
Along the dirty hallways
Down the creaky stairs
Into the old basement
Infested with cobwebs
At the bottom of the stairs, there lay a dead body
As acient Indian shadows danced along the walls
In the distance you hear voices chanting
Ari-adi-a-mus-latte
Ari-adi-a-mus-da
And it repeats…
